Tango and Pastas. Good wine.
At Esquina Carlos Gardel, suburb in its tourist
version is breathed. Buenos Aires visitors interchange
at their tables.
History:
In the heart of the district of Abasto, Esquina
Carlos Gardel opens its doors every day, offering
an unpublished spectacle of supper- tango show
of highest quality and refinement.
Built in the same lot of the old Hotel/Restaurant
Chanta Four, those old walls erected in 1893,
that were the witnesses of the “Morocho
del Abasto”´s youth, they stand again
sheltering in their interior a magical space designed
with the luxury, refinement, sophistication and
glamour of the Thirties and rescuing in each minimum
detail the opulence of the time that marked the
entrance of the tango in the most selected circles
of the society.

Esquina Carlos Gardel offers and excellent
and varied gastronomy. We recommend to try Chanta Four
of back (baked with vegetables and rice), Salmon Canyengue
Style (salmon with Provençal potatoes, asparagus
and sauce of fumet to the lemon), Chicken to the Luziardo
(supreme in frying pan, sauce of cooked oranges and
soybean with sweet potatoes and almonds).
In addition, an exquisitely decorated stage, unfolds
the latest generation technology and an artistic suggestion
of highest level. The show, of 90 minutes of duration
and 22 people (between musicians, dancers and singers)
on stage scene.
Among the public that chooses this show you can find
artists, business men, tourists and tango lovers.
Each detail of the hall -scenery finely recreating imaginary
theatre/cabaret of the Thirties- is designed to transport
you to a memorable historical experience, that begins
at the exact moment you arrive at the door and the statue
of our dear Carlos Gardel welcomes you.
